Record a tree

This is the place to record all the facts, stories and pictures for your tree.

The interactive map is designed to help you accurately locate your tree. Please read the information at the top of the map carefully before you start the recording process.

You can record as much or as little detail as you like in to the recording form. Recording has three steps to it so depending upon how much information you have, you can decide after each step if you wish to continue to the next level and add more information.

Each stage of the recording process in step one has a help box - click on this for more information and assistance if you need it.

When you feel you have told us all you can, simply click submit for verification at the bottom of the recording page. Your tree will then be sent to a volunteer to be verified and made live in the data base.

To verify a tree we need to know where you found it and some basic information about access to it, how fat it is and if you do not know the species a picture or two to help us identify it for you.

To help you get the information we need, you can print one of our recording forms.. This one if you have just one tree or a multi-tree form for when you are out and about tree hunting.
