Lake District Teacher Training

Ancient Tree Hunt for teachers and group leaders. Thursday 4 December, 10.30am-3pm at Lake District Visitor Centre, Brockhole.

This practical workshop is ideal for anyone wanting to use the innovative and engaging Ancient Tree Hunt resources with their class or group. Get hands-on with a range of excellent curriculum linked activities in the picturesque scenery of the Peak District. Learn how to hunt for and map the oldest and fattest trees across the UK.

This workshop is designed for teachers (particularly secondary Science, Geography, out-of-school club leaders and Primary Gifted and Talented Coordinators) and group leaders (Scouts, Guides, Wardens, environmental club leaders etc).
