In 2006, the Ancient Tree Hunt embarked upon the ambitious task of recording 100,000 of the UK's ancient, veteran and notable trees. 5 years on and it has been an immense journey with many magnificent new discoveries. Close to reaching our target, we now have the exciting opportunity to offer 11 regional trails that guide you around a few of the UK's most significant trees and locations. These will be released one by one over the coming months, starting with both London and Wales, hopefully inspiring you to hunt for even more of these wondrous giants.
Linking some of the greatest and oldest living trees in London, from the 500 year old holm oak at Fulham Palace to 'Barney' the giant London Plane in Barnes, the London tree trail is a zero carbon cyclable route across the capital.
