National Trust for Scotland

The National Trust for Scotland are joining the Woodland Trust by mapping all the ancient, veteran and notable trees on their land.

Records from across Scotland have been plotted onto a map to help them with the management of these historically important trees. In addition, information about the biodiversity the relies on these trees as habitats has also been recorded and adds to the data information held within the Ancient Tree Hunt web site.

Next time you plan a visit to a National Trust for Scotland site, check out the interactive map and discover the old trees that fall within their guardianship.
